Paint Spills

Please feel free to contact us if you have further question about cleaning up paint

If you’ve ever tried to clean up a paint spill (and who hasn’t), you know how difficult that can be. Rags or paper towels just seem to make the problem worse, and clay kitty litter…forget it! SpillFix offers a solution to paint spills that really works – even on coarse wood and other permeable surfaces. Sprinkle the product around the perimeter of the spill to contain the spread, then some more product on the spill itself to absorb the liquid. Work it through the spill and SpillFix will cause the liquid paint to “ball up” into a manageable solid that can be swept away. To remove the paint residue that has seeped into the wood or other surface, work some more SpillFix into the stain…and the unique absorbent capability of the SpillFix coconut coir will actually draw any uncured liquid paint out of the material. From now on, there’s no need to cry over spilled paint – just use SpillFix.

Disposing of SpillFix after cleaning up paint

Though SpillFix is a re-usable product, it should not be reused after absorbing paint of any kind. It may be incinerated or disposed of safely in landfills where local ordinances permit. SpillFix can also be discarded as ordinary organic waste if the liquids it has absorbed are not hazardous to the environment.
