"For rough floors, not sealed, like our parking lot, SpillFix does a much better job than our current product getting into the cracks and crevices. For Yard Spills, requires a 2lb Container vs a 55 Gallon Drum – It is a cost savings for us: Waste: We used to have our waste picked up once per month. We haven’t needed a pickup yet (approximately 2 months and counting). Use: We have gone through 2 Bags of SpillFix vs what would have been 6-8 bags of our current product."
"In 2014, I paid to dispose of 7 drums of oily rags and absorbent. In 2015, I disposed of 6 drums of the same. So far in 2016, I have not disposed of any – and right now have only a portion of a drum with a few oily rags from other processes." Read case study.
"The “pig” absorbent, which is shredded paper product, required up to 1 1/2 hours to clean up a spill and still left a residue behind that had to be scrubbed from the floor."
"My maintenance crew also uses it sometimes after working on the machines to remove the oil on their hands."
"I have now virtually eliminated a waste stream with the SpillFix and my staff LOVES using it. No one has asked for any other type of product since we began using it, and believe me, they would if they didn’t like it."
“We had to find something that didn’t create spontaneous fires occurring in our dumpsters. With the previous absorbent, we had to stop using it due to spontaneous fires that occurred in our dumpsters.”
"Bar-B-Que sauce is easy enough to clean up when it’s on your fingers and lips, but it’s an entirely different story when a five-gallon jug of it ruptures and flows onto a warehouse floor. SpillFix was applied to the entire disaster area – from the pallet to the cardboard, the shrink wrap and the growing puddle on the floor. It was even used to absorb the sauce on workers’ hands. In three and a half minutes, the entire mess was cleaned, and the warehouse was restored to a safe workplace again — using just one product. The reaction of the warehouse manager? 'That spill would normally have required kitty litter, soap, and water, a good amount of scrubbing and a lot of downtime. SpillFix is one complete solution.'" Read case study.
"The incentive to change to SpillFix was initially due to the fact that SpillFix left no residue and removed any threat of workers slipping and falling. When SpillFix was used to clean up the polymer in 60% less time than the water method – leaving no residue and creating a clean, safe, non-slippery surface – the plant’s head of maintenance remarked, 'I’ve been here 25 years and we’ve never had anything that can clean up the polymer. This is a whole new avenue for us.'"
"Cleaning the spill with clay absorbents could take over an hour, and still leave a slick and heavy residue behind. Workers then have to use water and a commercial cleaning product on the residue, creating a slippery nightmare."
"A five-gallon tub of acrylic paint was knocked over while a delivery truck was being unloaded. Even after the workers’ quick response, at least a half-gallon of beige paint was spilled onto the cement driveway."
